Preparation and information—not emergency response

Care Ready helps a caregiver prepare and review information for an Emergency or Everyday Care situation. It does not contact 911, dispatch responders, track a person, investigate an incident, determine alert eligibility, or replace first responders.

Caregiver-created briefs require review

An Incident Brief or Information Brief contains caregiver-entered or caregiver-selected information. It may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. Review every brief before sharing. Record only what you know or personally observed, identify an unknown fact as unknown, and follow the directions of responders or care professionals.

Responder and professional authority

Public-safety personnel, clinicians, schools, care professionals, and other responsible authorities retain independent verification, assessment, classification, treatment, and decision-making authority. A caregiver-prepared brief supports—not directs or replaces—their work.

Public-alert boundaries

Care Ready may identify facts that could support consideration of an AMBER Alert or an Endangered Missing Person Advisory. This is a responder consideration, not an eligibility determination. Names and requirements vary by jurisdiction. Only authorized law-enforcement or public-safety personnel determine eligibility and activate an alert. The app does not issue or request public alerts.

Emergency pathways

Immediate Safety Concern is an Emergency pathway for a situation in which someone may be in immediate danger. It is not a routine Everyday Care event. Selecting any workflow does not notify emergency services.

Protect sensitive information

Share personal, medical, identification, and location information only with an intended recipient and only when appropriate. Confirm the recipient and sharing method. Information shared outside the app may be copied, retained, or forwarded by the recipient or sharing service.
